Passion Podcast Episode 001 – Can You Really Have a Great Relationship?
Hey this is Clay.
How’s everything going these days? Thanks for your email messages about the last post. We’re taking those all into consideration as we move forward with this blog. I was hoping to get a little more feedback though… Honestly, I can’t help you unless you tell me what you want help with.
So, please, let us know what you want help with!
(Seriously, there are over 2500 of you on our newsletter, but we only got a handful of responses…)
But today, I’m excited.
No, it’s not because yesterday was Independence Day here in the US.
I’m excited because today we’re putting out our very first podcast episode.
This is part of our plan to reach more people. Plus, some people would rather listen than read blog posts.
Anyway, here’s the first episode:
(Excuse any poor quality… we’re still new to this, but I hope that any “bumps in the road” will smooth out as we get more experience)
Anyway, Mika is a very busy woman, so for the time being, I’m probably going to be doing most of these podcasts, but I managed to twist Mika’s arm and got her to sit down with me for this first episode.
This is just a little bit more about us and who we are.
As we move forward, we’ll talk about other topics, answer questions and so on.
Oh, and if you have any ideas, or questions at all, please feel free to let us know by leaving us a comment or replying to the email that sent you here :)
If you liked this episode, please feel free to share it on FaceBook, Twitter, Google Plus, or any of your other websites :)
Well… This weekend should be interesting… There’s a big blogger meetup happening in town called the World Domination Summit and I’m going to be lurking in the shadows trying to meet people (since I couldn’t get a ticket before they sold out…).
And please feel free to leave a comment with any feedback.
Remember, we can’t help you unless you speak up :)

Clay drinks way too much coffee, will probably like any beer you can't see through, and loves blogging far too much to ever stop.

Wow that was awesome! I can’t wait for more podcasts to come. I’m interested to know how to have a great relationship, so I don’t feel like I have to gain his attention for me to be happy. Thanks.

@V, Thanks, yeah. We have more coming soon. We’ve been bogged down for the past two weeks or so with the Independence Day holiday here in the US, plus a big blogger conference this weekend, but the blog should be more active next week :)

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to record this podcast. It’s really great to put a voice to the writing & pictures. I love to hear your stories and relate your learnings to my life. I struggle with self-esteem and intimacy issues, but reading your blog has helped me through some really tough times. What I would like to learn more of is how you break free from feeling insecure, jealous, unlovable, etc. I’ve gotten much better in recognizing when & why I’m feeling that way but my problem is how to stop the feelings from overwhelming me to the point that I go back to old behaviors.

Hey Kristin. That’s such a great question! Don’t worry, we won’t be leaving you guys in the dark. That’s why we’re here. We have a lot more in store to help our readers overcome limiting beliefs that makes it seem next to impossible to changing old and negative behaviors that prevent a thoroughly loving and thriving relationship. Stay tuned:)

Your blog looks so different and yet I really like it. I feel like you guys are going to kick ass and take names while you’re at it. I really enjoy the depth of both your writing. Clay is funny and Mika is so warm and inviting. The world feels a lot like a less lonely place thanks to you two. *pumping my fist in the air*
